MSOC: CAPERS Rout Axemen

CBU 4  ACA 0

Sydney, NS-  The undefeated CBU CAPERS jumped on the Acadia Axemen early and often. Euan Bauld (East Lothian, UK) scored first and then Caelan Budhoo (Winnipeg, MB) added a second around the 20' minute. The CAPERS entered half-time with a 3-0 lead after captain Stuart Heath (Belfast, IE) scored in the 32nd minute. The CAPERS started the second half just as quick as the first with a goal by Peter Schaale (Bernkastel-Kues, DE) in the 52nd minute. The CAPERS played defensive from that point satisfied with the 4-0 victory. Ben Jackson (Bury, UK) made three solid saves for the clean sheet.

Turning point – The CAPERS jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes to take control of the game. They applied pressure most of the 1st half and kept the Axemen pinned in their own half most of the game.
