CAPERS finish season undefeated, draw Moncton 2-2

The Aigles Bleus (3-7-2=11pts, 8th position) battled hard to earn a 2-2 verdict with the Capers (10-0-2=32pts, 1st position) in men's soccer. The CAPERS have clinched 1st place in the AUS standings and earned a bye into the semi-finals in next week's AUS Championships being held at Cape Breton University. The CAPERS will play the winner of the Dalhousie vs Saint Mary's quarterfinal. The CAPERS will play on Friday at 2 pm.  

Adrien Nagy, in the first half and Jean-Michel Dako, during the second scored for the Blue and Gold team. Charlie Waters, in the first and Peter Schaale, in the second, provided the offensive punch for the visitors. Christian Masimengo made 8 saves for Moncton and Viktor Lyczywek, 2 for the Capers. Cape Breton benefited from 5 corner kicks and Moncton, 4.
