Sydney, N.S. - The CAPERS Women (2-0) continued their winning ways with a 3-0 win over the UPEI Panthers (0-2) in AUS soccer regular season action on Sunday at Cape Breton University Field. 
Sophmore Ciera Disipio(Ottawa, ON) opened the scoring early in the 2' and then Chelsea Currie(Coxheath, NS) scored in the 17' which left the score at 2-0 for the CAPERS at half-time. The CAPERS scored early in the second half with a finish by Keona Simmonds (Brampton, ON) in the 47'.  
The CAPERS held possesion for many stretches during the game and outshot the Panthers 12 shots on goal to 7. Rachel Yerxa(Mississauga, ON) earned the clean sheet in her first start of the season.
Panthers goalie Amanda Stanyer made 9 saves in a losing cause.
The CAPERS return to action next Saturday, September17th when they visit the Dalhousie Tigers in Halifax with a 1:00pm start. The Panthers host Acadia on Friday, September 16th.
