Piepgrass named AUS men's soccer MVP; 10 other AUS soccer awards for CBU
The AUS released their top soccer awards today with Max Piepgrass named as Most Valuable Player of the conference for men's soccer. Max was an intergral part of the CAPERS soccer program this year as they battled their way to a first place finish in the regualr season.
Recognition was also given to the following players of the CBU CAPERS men's soccer team.
First Team All-Stars:
Midfielder – Max Piepgrass, Cape Breton
Midfielder – Jamie Nicholson, Cape Breton
Second Team All-Stars:
Defender – Harvey Hughes, Cape Breton
Midfielder – Yohann Hebert, Cape Breton
Midfielder – Joe Mac, Cape Breton
All-Rookie Team:
Yohann Hebert, Cape Breton
The men's team will have their first game of the AUS Championships on Friday, October 24 at 1pm at St. FX. You can watch the game on AUStv.ca or in the Pit Lounge on campus.
The CBU women's soccer team also received regonition from the AUS with 4 players appearing on the All-Star teams.

Second Team All-Stars:
Defender – Makenna Bowser, Cape Breton
Midfielder – Paige Allaby, Cape Breton
CBU is hosting the Bell 2025 AUS Women's Soccer Championships presented by Protocase at Ness Timmons Field. The CAPERS will have their first game at 4:00pm on Thursday, October 23. Please join us to cheer on your hometown CAPERS.
