CAPERS split games on the road
The CBU CAPERS women's basketball team were on the road this weekend with games at Acadia and Dalhousie.
The CAPERS has a tough battle with the Acadia Axewomen on Friday night. Acadia's Samantha Russell was a strong offensive and defensive threat that the CAPERS struggled with. She posted a triple double and forced several turnovers. CBU's Amanda Cruickshank scored 14 points and Kristen Taylor finished with five points, six rebounds and three assists. Cameron Clarke grabbed seven boards, and Alicia Bowering added five points, a block and a steal.

On Saturday, the CAPERS faced the Dalhousie Tigers and took the win with a great rebound performance. The CAPERS were strong on the boards and their shot percentage improved from the day before. CBU's Amanda Cruickshank scored a whopping 25 points with 6 rebounds, 9 assists and a steal. Kristen Taylor finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, a steal and 4 assists. Alicia Bowering, Lily Francois and Elizandra Costa each chipped in 11 points towards the win.

The CAPERS are home this Saturday, November 29, for their final home game before the winter break.
