Friday, January 9

The CAPERS struggled to find their game in the match up with the conference leaders - the UNB REDS - in Atlantic University Sport women's basketball action, Friday evening, at UNB's Richard J. Currie Center. The UNB offence stole the show, and the game, limiting conference "points per game" leader, Amanda Cruickshank, to seven points, four rebounds, and three assists. Ella Dunn and Elizandra Costa both added six points. Three UNB REDS recorded double-doubles in a decisive 102-27 victory.

Saturday, January 10

The CAPERS improved on their performace with the second game against first place UNB REDS in Atlantic University Sport action Saturday afternoon at UNB's Richard J. Currie Center. They doubled their points from yesterdays game but the UNB REDS proved to be strong competition once again, taking the second game of the double header 100-52.

Kristen Taylor led the CAPERS with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists while Elizandra Costa dropped 11 points. Katie Butts led all scorers with 20 points for the REDS on 9-of-10 shooting from the field. Butts also added nine rebounds.

Your CAPERS will be back at home at the Sullivan Fieldhouse on Saturday, January 17 to host the Dalhousie Tigers at 6pm, followed by the men's game at 8.
