SYDNEY, NS – The CAPERS controlled a chippy game most of the way and defeated the Mt. Allison Mounties 4-0 in AUS action on Sunday afternoon at CBU Field. The CAPERS move to 4-1-1 with the win and the Mounties drop to 0-5-1 with the loss.

The CAPERS scored four 1^st half goals to take a big lead into the locker room. Corey Bent (Preston, UK) scored the 1^st goal at the 13' mark. The CAPERS then scored three goals in a five-minute flurry of action. Bent scored his second, followed quickly by Daniel Pritchard (Nuneaton, UK)) and Joel Eckert-Ayensa (Pulhaim, GER).

In the 2^nd half, the CAPERS kept the Mounties scorless to finish of the 4-0 victory. Seiwa Lui made 4 saves in losing cause for the Mounties. Ben Jackson (Bury, UK) earned the clean sheet for the CAPERS.

The CAPERS are back in action next Saturday, October 1^st when they host the Moncton Aigles des Bleu at 3.15pm. Mt.Allison returns home to host UPEI on Friday, September 30^th.
