Peter Schaale of the Cape Breton Capers men's soccer team is the Subway Atlantic University Sport male athlete of the week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2018.

A third-year defender from Bernkastel-Kues, Germany, Schaale scored a hat trick, including the game-winner in the Capers' 6-0 win over the Saint Mary's Huskies Friday. He was named Subway Player of the Game for his efforts.

Sunday, Schaale's strong defensive effort led the Capers to a 2-0 win over the previously undefeated Dalhousie Tigers. Cape Breton's defence allowed no shots on goal in the game.
