UPEI over CAPERS 63-48

The CAPERS battled against the UPEI Panthers in AUS women's basketball action this evening at the Sullivan Fieldhouse. 

The first quarter started out with back and forth action and ended with the Panthers up 13-8 at the buzzer. The CAPERS came out strong in the second quarter bringing the game within 2 points. The Panthers went on an 8 point run and pulled ahead by 15 at the half.

The CAPERS weren't able to close the gap in the third with the Panthers increasing their lead to 19. The Panther offence proved to be too much for the CAPERS this evening and they took the win.

The CAPERS will face the Panthers again tomorrow at 2:00 followed by the men's game at 4:00.
