Hamilton to join CAPER women's soccer program in the fall
The Cape Breton University Women's Soccer Program is proud to welcome Mia Hamilton to the program. Mia is a left winger from Aldershot, Hampshire who is currently playing for Hashtag United and London City Lionesses. She will join the CAPERS squad in Atlantic University Sport play for the 2025-26 soccer season.
"I chose CBU because of the inviting feel of the team," shares Mia on why she chose the join the CAPERS. "It feels like it could become a second family so I'm very excited to see what's to come!"
Mia wants to play some "attacking soccer" with the CAPERS and looks forward to bringing some "exciting moments" to the pitch this fall. She hopes to bring "more goals and opportunities" for the CAPERS in the upcoming season.
Women's Soccer Head Coach, Ness Timmons, stated "Mia can play a variety of attacking positions. We look forward to her style of play."
The CAPER soccer season begins on the road on August 29 and 31 with the first home game on Saturday, Septmeber 6th at Ness Timmons Field on the CBU Campus.
