SYDNEY, NS - The CAPERS home opener game against the UNB Reds ended in a 0-0 tie in AUS women's soccer action. Each team had 4 chances to get themselves on the board but CAPERS keeper Ellie Lancaster and REDS keeper Breanna Habinski kept the ball out of the net. The teams were equally strong at both ends of the field. Standing out for the CAPERS was #23 Audrey Roy who earned the SUBWAYS CBRM Player of the Game.
The CBU CAPERS next game is on Friday, September 12th against the Saint Mary's Huskies. It is Hero's night in partnership with Caleb's Courage. The women will kick off at 5 and the men will kick off at 7:30. The CAPERS take the field again on Sunday Sept 14th with the women playing at 11:00 and the men playing at 1:30.
